    Oil India moves Supreme Court against AGR verdict - Livemint thumbnail

    State owned company Oil India has moved Supreme Court seeking clarification/modification of its earlier verdict which mandates telecom and non-telecom companies to pay dues to the government by 23 January, the company said in a press statement on Wednesday.

    “OIL has taken up this matter with Department of Telecommunications & Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas along with other affected CPSEs and explained the non-applicability of interpretation of AGR to Non Telecom Companies,” Oil India said.
    The Department of Telecommunication (DoT) has also sent a ₹48,000 crore demand notice to Oil India
